President of the “Slovenian National Olive Council”, director of the chemical laboratory at Koper “Science and Research Centre” where she conducts numerous research projects in the olive oil sector, as well as being leader of the local panel and the “National Slovene Panel”. Bučar-Miklavčič collaborates with international organizations such as the International Olive Oil Council and the European Commission as an expert member in sensory analysis. She is a jury member in prestigious competitions worldwide.
