Bio

After training as an engineer with a specialization in banking and finance, and a brief career Bélorgey to took over the family estate “La Lieutenante” in 2002 after his father passed away. At that time, he became an olive grower in the Vallée des Baux de Provence A.O.P. (48 hectares of olive trees, 12 hectares of which are organic), a producer of Hay « Foin de Crau A.O.P » (105 hectares) and a breeder of sheep under the Label Rouge Agneau de Sisteron IGP (1,200 Merino sheep). At the same time, he decided to get involved in the olive oil industry and was elected in 2016, President of the French Confederation of Olive Producers and in 2018, President of the French Interprofessional Olive Association – France Olive. Since 2017, he took part in the plan to revive the cultivation of almond trees in France (80 hectares of almond trees to date) and in 2018, I became President of the brand new almond interprofession – France Amande.With his Provencal roots, Bélorgey is a key asset to this jury.
